With the enactment of IL House Bill 313 into law as House Act 0214 on Jan 1, 2018, All IL-licensed advance practice nurses are now required to obtain 10 hours of pharmacology continuing education specific to Opioid Prescription and Substance Abuse Education. This course is a self-study of the April 2022 Live version of this content. By watching each of the 10 hours of content at your pace, you can affordably and efficiently meet this requirement!
At the end of these videos, you will take a post-course evaluation and when that is submitted, you will receive the CE certificate by email and will also be available on your "my courses" tab online.
This course includes 12.0 advanced pharmacotherapeutic AAFP-approved contact hours and has been submitted for 10.0 hours of Class A AANA credit.

The AAFP has reviewed DEA and Illinois License Renewal Bundle and deemed it acceptable for up to 12.00 Enduring Materials, Self-Study AAFP Prescribed credit(s). Term of Approval is from 06/01/2024 to 05/31/2025. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
AAFP Prescribed credit is accepted by the American Medical Association as equivalent to AMA PRA Category 1 credit(s)™ toward the AMA Physician's Recognition Award. When applying for the AMA PRA, Prescribed credit earned must be reported as Prescribed, not as Category 1.
